It hass been almost a year since I was here taking pictures and I have missed the smell of burned rubber and the ear-pounding power of the cars.
This was my first attempt at taking pictures of racing at night. I spent a while proving to myself that, yes, really, my poor several-years-old digital camera really is not fast enough to stop the motion of the cars launching from the starting line at night.
One of these attempts is interesting in that the light streaks show the front end rising while the rear end drops as the car takes off - see that one here. The rest are just blurry or the camera took so long to focus that the car was already gone :-)
So these images are mostly as you staged or in the lanes and pits.
